I have tried containers and they don't seem to go as well compared to in the ground itself.

I have never heard of herbs blending flavors. I always have mu oregano, basil and cilantro and they never taste off.

I will try some in containers just because I want to expand my herbs this year and I don't have the room for them. I forget to water them every morning since the hot summers here dries them up within a day. I have a drip system for my garden so that helps me in not forgetting to water them every morning. :)

Good luck with your garden!Domestic Goddess..Diva sometimeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17494435745541148662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2857186655913828252.post-17552488313499435922010-03-04T13:26:53.886-08:002010-03-04T13:26:53.886-08:00Nancy, do you plant your herbs in one plot togethe...Nancy, do you plant your herbs in one plot together or do you separate them with borders and/or pots? We've always used containers so as not to blend herb flavors, but I'm rethinking things as our landscape plans progress.Suzannehttp://www.aviewfromthesewer.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2857186655913828252.post-50415165370338850322010-02-28T07:48:36.359-08:002010-02-28T07:48:36.359-08:00I LOVE oregano! We were at the softball fields for hours and the wind made it very cold! No more snow so far. I can not wait until it warms up, but I do not love the pollen! Have a great weekend (what is left of it!).Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05248007587256975201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2857186655913828252.post-42232645109199326292010-02-24T14:02:15.528-08:002010-02-24T14:02:15.528-08:00Do I ned to tell you that tht white stuff is still...Do I ned to tell you that tht white stuff is still coming down as we speak!!
