Summer is here and people want to cook outside of the kitchen. I love grilling and if I can, I will grill our dinner instead of being stuck in the kitchen. Here's a good recipe for grilled pork chops. Everyone in the family loved it.
Ingredients.
4 (8 ounce) bone-in pork loin chops
6 tablespoons Dijon mustard
6 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened apple juice
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Combine in a bowl the mustard, brown sugar, apple juice and Worcestershire sauce. Don't be afraid of the color. lol It's not the prettiest but it will make your chops taste delicious! Now you can remove 1/3 of the marinade and use it to baste the chops. I opted not to baste and they still turned out great.
In a resealable bag, pour the marinade and the add the pock chops. Seal bag and turn the bag a few times, to make sure the chops are well coated. Refrigerate for 8 hours.
Coat your grill with oil (I use vegetable oil). Pour out the marinade and grill your pork chops over medium heat. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes on each side. Baste your chops if you want at this stage. They must be 160 degree to be safe.
Serve it with a salad, some roasted or grilled potatoes and a veggie. Perfect summer meal!
Bon Appetit!
