This past Sunday, my friend and her daughter came to make a gingerbread house at my place. She got a Wilton brand house and I mine from Trader Joe's. We had fun but next year, we decided to make a tree instead since we did 90% of the work. The kids would just run off and play! soupir.
There was Christmas music in the background and I made hot chocolate milk with marshmellows for the kids. I was happy mine didn't come with alot of candy since there was a little hand that kept popping some in her mouth. One candy for the house and one for her mouth. lol Did she even sleep??!!
Here's some photos from our exciting house making adventures! I guess our icing required an egg white and lemon juice. Hehehe My friend's daughter asked why I needed an egg and my friend said because my house was fancy. H-A H-A.

Sorry for the bad photos. My camera is dying I think.
Looks like she was telling her daughter "easy" with the water.
The kids loved licking the whisks. I have pics of us moms doing it but who wants to see that?
Can you tell how excited she was???
And there goes the people and the fence!
My daughter and I.
My son also help with putting the cookies on the roof.Ahhh Sugar People! Once the holidays are over, you will be mine!
A Bientot!

I am most definitely headed to Trader Joe's later today. That is the cutest house and so different from ours in past years.
