Sniff!

I have bad news. One of my precious appliances is dying. The vacuum cleaner! Oh say it isn't so! My Whirlwind Eureka has been with me for 4 years. I remember the day that I bought it. My daughter was only 18 months old. I was so happy in getting one since we had one that was not vacuuming correctly. Now, it's slowly dying. Nothing last forever these days. My digital camera is also dying and it's only 3 years old! Humph!

Vacuum

So now I am doing some research on which vacuum cleaner we should get. I have been eyeing the Dyson Animal but spending that much money on a vacuum kills me! Does anyone have one? Or how about the "ball" one? Is that any good? I welcome all suggestions and personal experiences in regards to a vacuum. I do have a dog and she does shed but she has short hair.

Good thing I have that small vacuum so tidy me over until we get a new vacuum. *whew!*

A Bientot!

A few years back I was shopping for a vacuum and read that Eureka had a model that was comparable to the Dyson. It, of course, had a much cheaper price tag. I ended up receiving a different vacuum as a shower gift, so I never purchased either. I can’t remember but I might have read that on Consumer Reports. I use them a lot.

I have a DC15 (animal ball). We LOVE it. If it ever breaks (I doubt it, as you can fully taken it apart and replace each piece with great customer service), I will buy another one. Got it with the 20% off coupon at BBB or LnT online a couple of years back. And you know me, I am usually a thrift store shopper ;-)

Oh, one more thing. After I got mine, I read somewhere that all the models of one serie are identical, except they come in different color with a different set of attachment, and it is that combination that makes up the model, i.e. animal or whatever. So if you go with a Dyson, double check that. No need to spend the $ for the animal if the whatever is the same thing.
