Last night I couldn't wait to start painting so I decided to do it in my garage early evening. It was like working in a 400F oven. Whew! I sanded it since it didn't feel that smooth. For painting, I tried the latex paint and the spray paint. Spray paint won since I could still see brush strokes. I couldn't find my foam brush if it depended on my life so I opted for the smooth finish of the spray paint. And voila! A chair with purdy legs.
I also have 3 tips to offer any of you that might want to try spray painting.
#1. Remove any bracelets & rings. Specialement wedding rings.
#2 Disposable latex gloves are your friends.
#3. Have in your disposition paint remover in case you forgot about tip #1 and #2. Not that I would know about it....just sayin'.
Hubby was asking about another project of mine that I haven't even touched. I would but I ran out of paint remover. It will have to wait for tomorrow.
A bientot!
