Nostalgie

This post has nothing to do with home projects, shopping or cooking. Thisis about my daughter. Well me feeling sad about my daughter growing up.

Skip this post if you think I'm loony and go to some decor or cooking post. You have been forewarned!

Yesterday was my daughter's last day of preschool. I know. Big deal, right? It is to me. My daughter started in that daycare since she was a baby so most of the teachers have seen her grow up. They all wished her well and some gave her little presents too. She was all excited but some had tears in their eyes and if I didn't try to be brave, I would of cried too. So now her babyhood is over and she'll start a new chapter in her life. One filled with school, homework, tests and new discoveries too. I feel sad that her "old" carefree life is over. Waking up whenever she wanted, going anywhere at whim, no real schedule, etc. Now she'll have to leave the house at a certain time everyday. Might even have homework, who knows?! So as I was thinking about this, I went upstairs to my room to look at old baby photo albums. Yes, this is kinda cheesy and corny but my baby is not a baby anymore *cue the sad violins!* Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I want my baby back! Why do they have to grow up so quickly???!!!! So just because it's my blog and I can post whatever I want, here's some of my daughter's old photos.

So how do you moms with older kids deal with this? I'm dreading the day when my son will turn 5. Ugh!

A *sniff* bientot.

Weeeeelllll since you asked! :) I have 3 different outfits for her to wear on her first day.Just not sure which one. They are from Gymboree and it's all from the prep school line (blouse, vest and jeans or the plaid pleated skort with a long tee or the J'aime Paris top and skirt with matching knee sock).
How can a girl decide??? ;P
