Heavy construction going on at my house.

This summer we wanted to get a wooden playground for the children. We first had to go thru HOA's approval before puchasing it. That took over a month! Crazy I tell you! When I got the letter of approval, we decided to get it when my parents will be here. That way my dad can feel he was part of building the kid's playground.

Once we got it that same evening, my hubby and dad wanted to start on it. I emailed my father-in-law in case he also wanted to help build it the next day since it was close to 8pm. That evening, hubby and dad were able to get the rock wall done and the end of the swing beam too.

Look how naive they look. lol I'm sure they thought it would be easy and quick among the two of them.

Finally done for the day! Alleluia!

The next day, my father-in-law arrived and they all started to build the playground. At one point I thought maybe having 3 men could cause some issues like who knows best, one opinion is better than another but nope! They all worked well together. There was some water and beer breaks during the constructions and no one lost a digit! A plus in my book!

I love this photo. It looks like the tower fell and my father-in-law is looking in disarray. lol Actually, they put it on the side to screw the roof tarp.

Here's my son running to the almost completed playgroud. He just woke up from his nap. The look on his face was priceless!

He's running back to me saying "The park is almost done!"

I told them to take a dinner break so I grilled up some hamburgers. Hamburgers, baked beans and beer. What more can I man want? lol

They finished the playground toward the evening. The kids didn't take any time to break in the playground. We moved it later on to a better stop. I'm sure my trees are grateful for that. lol

My kids love it. I'm also very happy that both Gandpas had a hand in building it. The kids know all 3 of them worked hard in making their dreams come true. Thanks guys!
