Sesame Street is 40!

As a kid, Sesame Street was one of the English kids shows that I used to watch. It's probably why I was able to read and write in English before French. lol

Emily from Imperfect did a post about it and asked which Sesame character did her readers love. I thought it could make a cute post, walking down on memory lane. My favorite character is Grover. I always thought he was funny and soo scrawny. Even at a young age, the Portuguese in me thought he was too skinny. lol One series he has is Super Grover. The guy always crashed into trees and buildings. I thought that was hilarious but now, I wonder if he needed glasses. lol

Here's one video of him that I remember and loved. You know it was in the 80's when you see head bands and any references to Jane Fonda. Do you also have a favorite "monster"?

A Bientot!

I cannot pick out just one character...I loved Big Bird, Snuffulufagus (sp!) Ernie, The Count, Grover, and so many more! It was such a part of my childhood as well!

I have a few faves but I love Oscar, the Grouch most. I did a post on their 40th anniversary too. Sesame Street definitely left me with many sweet memories :)

My sister-in-law, Jodee, from followtheleaders told me to check out your Sesame Street post. I did a Sesame Street post yesterday in honor of 40 years also.

I think my favorite character is Big Bird. I always wanted to be tall.

Take care,
Michelle
